Coaching vs. Therapy
“What does a life coach do? The difference between a life coach and a therapist is that a life coach sets clients up with a process that may be long or short-term, instead of regular sessions. In life coaching a client works with a coach who is not a healthcare professional, in order to clarify goals and identify obstacles and problematic behaviors in order to create action plans to achieve desired results. The process of life coaching takes the clients current starting point as an acceptable neutral ground and is more action-based from that point onward. A life coach enables the person receiving treatment to take control of their life and take action to steer it toward their goals.”

Life Coaches use their own life experiences to help facilitate action plans and often have a niche.  Rob’s niche is in empowering people who have trouble with performance in a variety of areas.  It could be related to motivation, problems with attention, poor self-confidence, and athletes who have problematic thinking and/or other behavior that may limit their potential performance.

Coach with Rob online (face-time or skype), in his office or in his Fitness Training Studio to develop strength, discipline, self-confidence, and wellness.  Rob has years of experience helping individuals to transform their physiques and minds through personal fitness training.  Also, Rob has more than 20 years of experience in mental health treatment working with people aged 5 to elderly.  He also has had years of experience working as a personal fitness trainer transforming physiques for adults and teenagers.  Rob also has experience training competitors for fitness, figure, and bodybuilding competitions sponsored by the National Physique Committee.  It is important to know that Rob works with people who are elite athletes as well as those who have never worked out before.  

With the right combination of coaching, good nutrition, and fitness is the "fountain of youth". The balance of aerobic conditioning, strength training, and nutrition is the key to achieving a fit body and mind.


The most enjoyable aspect of watching my clients reach their personal life and fitness goals is in the satisfaction and excitement they report feeling in their new lives. The determination, discipline, and confidence that is gained by their training, can be used to achieve any goal in life.
